| Ramside Hall Hotel and Golf Club is situated just two miles from the beautiful historic city of Durham. Set in delightful and tranquil surroundings, the hotel is the North East's largest privately owned hotel, and also has a fantastic 27 hole golf course, driving range and club house, as well as its own bars and restaurants. Ramside Hall is a destination in its own right, but is also perfectly positioned for visiting the surrounding area.

The newly opened and very luxurious Rib Room Steak House and Grill at Ramside Hall Hotel is a truly unique dining experience, with it's 'Meat Locker' which gives diners a glimpse of the exceptionally high quality meat to be savoured in the restaurant.

Enjoy a selection of cuts from fine Durham beef which has been matured for twenty-eight to thirty-two days, to produce a succulent and tender steak, cooked to perfection in the magnificently appointed and brand new kitchens. The menu is delightful, and has tempting dishes for all tastes. The wine list is a joy to peruse with over one hundred and fifty specially selected wines that will accompany any dish perfectly.

Choose from a superb selection of fresh and perfectly cuisined dishes including: steak cooked to your specification, freshly fried fish, pizza cooked in a wood burning oven, home made desserts, and perfect patisserie.

As if all this were not enough to tempt you, there is also live entertainment on both Friday and Saturday evenings.

Both the Rib Room Steak House and Grill, and Pembertons are renowned for their amazing Sunday lunches, which offer a traditional choice of cuisine, and excellent value. You may also indulge in fine private dining at Ramside Hall Hotel, in the fabulous Green Room, which can seat up to twenty-two guests in great style.

There are also five boardrooms, which seat four to twenty dinner guests, and Banqueting rooms, which can accommodate sixty to five hundred guests.

Pembertons Rotisserie & Carvery is open all day and every day 7.00am – 10.00pm – no bookings required, just come along whatever the time of day.

For the Rib Room bookings are preferred, again open every day 12.00 – 2.00pm and 6.00pm – 10.00pm.
